Most mornings, the crew is on a roof before the neighborhood wakes up. By noon, somebody’s watching a leak get sealed that’s been dripping through a ceiling for two winters. By evening, a homeowner shakes your hand because you did what you said you’d do. That’s the job at Ridgeline Roofing Co., and it’s been the job since 1984. We’re not chasing storms and moving on. We hire local, we train local, and we plan to be here in thirty years – which means the person who starts with us this year has somewhere to go.
Who We’re Looking For
- Roofing Apprentice: Someone who shows up on time, pays attention, and isn’t afraid of heights or hard work – everything else we can teach.
- Experienced Installer / Journeyman: A roofer who takes clean cuts seriously and treats somebody else’s house the way they’d treat their own.
- Lead Technician: A field veteran who can run a crew, read a job before it starts, and talk to a homeowner without making them nervous.
- Emergency and Storm Response Technician: Someone steady under pressure, because the calls that come in at midnight after a hail storm are the ones that matter most.
- Dispatcher / Scheduler: An organized thinker who can juggle a board full of jobs, stay calm when a crew runs late, and never leave a homeowner wondering what’s happening.
- Customer Service Representative: A person who genuinely likes talking to people, listens before they speak, and understands that a homeowner calling about their roof is often worried about a lot more than shingles.

We’ve been training apprentices into journeymen since before a lot of our current crew members were born. Roofs don’t go out of style. Every house has one, and every roof eventually needs attention. Because Ridgeline is community-rooted rather than storm-chasing, our pipeline isn’t built on a single weather event – it’s built on relationships with homeowners who call us back and refer their neighbors. That kind of demand is a different thing to work inside of than a boom-and-bust operation.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve worked construction, done production work on a line, served in the military, or spent years doing physical work that required you to think on your feet and get things right the first time – you already have more of a foundation than you think.
We don’t expect new hires to show up knowing how to flash a valley or cut a hip rafter. We expect them to be coachable, reliable, and serious about doing work they’d put their name on. The technical side – materials, installation methods, safety protocols, manufacturer specs – that’s what the first months are for. You’ll work alongside experienced installers and lead technicians, learning the craft the way it’s actually done, not from a video.
By the time you’re running your own sections of a job, you’ll have the hands and the knowledge to back it up. We’ve built careers this way since 1984, and we’re not about to stop.
