- Roofing Installer / Journeyman – Someone who takes the layout of a roof personally, moves efficiently on the deck, and doesn’t need to be told twice to fasten properly.
- Roofing Apprentice – Someone new to the trade who shows up on time, listens, asks smart questions, and isn’t afraid of a steep pitch once they’ve been shown how to work it safely.
- Gutter & Accessories Technician – Someone with an eye for pitch and alignment, comfortable on ladders, and precise enough that water goes where it’s supposed to go.
- Emergency & Storm Response Crew Member – Someone who can stay calm when a homeowner is panicked, work quickly without cutting corners, and understands that midnight tarp calls are part of what sets us apart.
- Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator – Someone who can hold six priorities in their head at once, communicate clearly under pressure, and keeps crews and customers both feeling looked after.
- Customer Service Representative – Someone with patience, a steady phone voice, and the kind of honesty that makes a homeowner trust the answer they just got – because at Ridgeline, a live person answers every call, 24/7, and that person represents us completely.

If you’ve spent time in construction, landscaping, general labor, moving, or any trade where you worked with your hands and followed a process, more transfers than you’d think. You already know how to listen to a job site lead, how to move safely around other workers, and how to take instruction without needing it repeated. Those habits matter more than you’d expect.
What we teach: how a roof system actually works – from the deck up through the underlayment, flashing, shingles, and ridge. How to read a roof safely. How our materials go together and why the manufacturer specs exist. How we document the job with photos and communicate with homeowners the way Ridgeline expects.
The first months look like working alongside experienced crew members, learning before leading, and building the kind of confidence that comes from doing something correctly enough times that it becomes second nature. We don’t rush that process. A ridge that proves itself was built by someone who was taught right.
